Fondly Told is built to be used through an AI assistant. This page explains, for humans, what your AI assistant will do. The technical version is public too, because you should be able to read what it reads.

What your AI assistant will do

• Ask who the book is for, which period, and whether you want it bold or classic.
• Look through your own Instagram posts and Stories archive for candidates, and show you what it found.
• Ask before it sends anything. Then send the photos to us in one request.
• Give you one link. On that page you choose photos, see the proof, change things and order.

What it will not do

• Use photos from anyone else's account.
• Order or pay without you. You approve the proof and the payment yourself.
• Send us anything you didn't write. With your okay it can include the captions you wrote, the times you posted and your bio, so the book sounds like you. Comments, messages, other people's names and locations are discarded if they arrive.

Which AI assistant

Works best with Meta Muse. It can read your own Instagram account with your permission, so it finds the photos for you. Other AI assistants, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can follow the same guide. They can't see your Instagram, so you'll need to hand them the photos yourself, for example from Instagram's "Download your information" export.
